The concrete (Boanite) pavers at our entrance are really just stamped concrete with a form.  Every 4-5 years it needs to be pressure washed / cleaned to remove tire tracks and grime and then painted with a special heavy duty sealer.  We have had them add a anti-skid product doing the last two treatments.  At some point in the future we would like to replace the concrete with real pavers as many of the other neighborhoods within Hunters Green have done.  Pavers would be more attractive, less slippery and less bumpy.  If we do install pavers, we would also install a conduit under the street for any future irrigation and or electrical lines to the island and the other side of the street.
